3. Personal Data We May Collect
The personal data collected depends on how you use the website.
3.1 Technical and Server Data
When you visit Libradia, certain technical information may be recorded automatically by the web server. This may include:
- your IP address;
- date and time of access;
- requested page or file;
- referring website;
- browser type and version;
- device type and operating system;
- HTTP status and technical error information.
This information is used to operate the website, maintain security, detect technical problems and prevent misuse.
3.2 Communications
If you contact us by email or through a contact method made available on the website, we may process:
- your name;
- your email address;
- the content of your message;
- any information or attachments you choose to provide;
- the date and history of our communication.
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, provide requested information and maintain an appropriate record of the communication.
Providing contact information is voluntary, but without a way to reply or enough information to understand your request, we may be unable to assist. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
3.3 Cookie Consent Information
We use CookieYes to manage visitors’ cookie preferences. When you interact with the cookie banner, information relating to your consent choice may be stored, including your selected preferences and related technical identifiers.
This information is used to remember your selection and, where applicable, record whether consent was given. Device storage that remembers a preference is distinct from any server-side consent record.
3.4 Data We Do Not Currently Collect
At the date of this Policy, Libradia does not provide:
- public user accounts;
- online purchasing or payment services;
- newsletter subscriptions;
- personalised advertising;
- visitor profiling.
We currently do not use optional analytics or advertising cookies. Before introducing any of these services, we will update the relevant privacy information and obtain consent where required.
4. Purposes and Legal Bases
We process personal data only when there is an appropriate legal basis.
Website Operation and Security
Technical data may be processed to:
- deliver website content;
- maintain website performance;
- identify and resolve errors;
- protect the website against attacks, spam and misuse;
- maintain the security of our systems.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Responding to Enquiries
Information you provide when contacting us is processed to respond to your message and provide the information you request.
Depending on the nature of the enquiry, the legal basis may be:
- our legitimate interest in communicating with website visitors under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; or
- taking steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Managing Cookie Preferences
We process preference information to respect your choices and operate the consent mechanism. Our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR is to manage those choices; where a consent record is required to demonstrate compliance, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR applies. This does not make consent the legal basis for strictly necessary cookies.
Legal Obligations
We may process or retain information where this is required to comply with applicable legal obligations. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Consent
Where we introduce optional cookies, analytics, advertising technologies or other consent-based services, personal data will be processed on the basis of your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
5. Cookies
Libradia uses cookies and similar technologies required for the operation of the website and for remembering cookie preferences.
Our current setup is intended to use only necessary cookies, including cookies used to remember cookie preferences. WordPress may also set necessary cookies when authorised administrators sign in. We do not currently enable optional visitor analytics or advertising cookies.
Information about cookies identified on the website, including their purposes and configured durations, is provided through the cookie-preference panel.
You can review your choices by opening the cookie settings available on the website. If optional consent-based services are introduced, you will be able to withdraw consent there. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser; this may reset saved preferences or affect functions that require cookies. Strictly necessary cookies do not depend on optional consent.
6. Service Providers and Recipients
We may use trusted service providers to operate and secure Libradia. These currently include:
Website and Email Hosting
NEOSERV provides our website hosting and the email service used for info@libradia.com. It may process technical and server data and, for email delivery and storage, sender and recipient addresses, message content, attachments and associated technical data. These services support website operation, communications, security and the related hosting infrastructure.
Cookie Consent Management
We use CookieYes to display the cookie banner, record consent preferences and maintain information about cookies used on the website.
Further information about the provider is available in the CookieYes Privacy Policy. Processing carried out on our behalf is governed by the applicable service and data-processing arrangements; the provider’s own website policy does not replace this notice.
Technical Support and Maintenance
Authorised technical providers may access limited website or server information when necessary to maintain, secure or repair the website. Such access is limited to what is required for the relevant service.
Legal Disclosures
We may disclose personal data to public authorities, courts or other authorised recipients where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
7. International Data Transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside Slovenia or the European Economic Area.
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we require an appropriate legal basis and safeguards recognised by the GDPR, such as:
- an adequacy decision of the European Commission;
- Standard Contractual Clauses;
- another legally recognised transfer mechanism.
You may contact info@libradia.com for information about transfers affecting your data and how to obtain a copy of the relevant safeguards, subject to necessary redactions.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
In general:
- server and security logs are retained for the period needed to diagnose faults, investigate security incidents and meet applicable legal requirements; the period depends on the type of record and any ongoing investigation;
- correspondence is normally retained for up to two years after the last communication, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary for a legal claim;
- cookie-consent information is retained for as long as necessary to remember and demonstrate the relevant consent choice;
- the device cookie that remembers your preferences expires according to the configured duration shown in the cookie-preference panel, unless you delete it sooner; its expiry does not necessarily determine the retention period of a separate consent record.
When information is no longer required, it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Data remaining in backups is retained only until the applicable backup cycle expires, with access restricted to recovery and security purposes.
9. Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against:
- unauthorised access;
- accidental loss;
- misuse;
- alteration;
- disclosure;
- destruction.
These measures include encrypted HTTPS connections, access controls, software updates, backups and website-security procedures.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. External Links
Libradia may contain links to websites operated by third parties.
When you follow an external link, the destination website operates under its own privacy policy and terms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.
11. Embedded Content
Articles may in the future include content embedded from other websites, such as videos, maps or social-media posts.
Embedded content may behave as if you visited the external provider directly. Such providers may collect technical information or use cookies. Where legally required, non-essential embedded content will be blocked until you provide consent.
12. Automated Decision-Making
Libradia does not currently use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
13. Your Data Protection Rights
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may have the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion of your personal data;
- request restriction of processing;
- receive certain personal data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights, contact us at info@libradia.com.
If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may request additional information necessary to verify it. We respond without undue delay and normally within one month. Where the GDPR permits an extension because of the complexity or number of requests, we will inform you within the initial month and explain the reasons.
Right to object: where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will assess the objection in accordance with the GDPR. Portability applies only where its legal conditions are met, including the relevant legal basis and automated processing.
14. Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe that your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you may submit a complaint to:
Information Commissioner of the Republic of
Slovenia
Dunajska cesta 22
1000 Ljubljana

You may also contact the competent data-protection authority in the EU or EEA country where you live or work.

- applicable legal requirements change.
The latest version will always be published on this page, together with its effective date.
